Parasol

Paris is known for many things

Pastries, shopping, history and fashion

One typical rainy, grey day in February while sitting under the heat lamps at café L’Empire. A woman stood at the cross walk.

She almost looked photoshopped next to the haze of dullness from the pavement to the sky. She held tight to her parasol that was black and white polka dots and lined in the most electric blue. A long demask coat and yellow heels.

I couldn’t help but notice how secure she looked, under that parasol… She remained untouched by natures fury.

Everyone around her seemed to be struggling to stay dry and protected, yet she glided along as if being led down a track… A perfect composition.
