Anisimova

With so much division in our world today,

I sat in the workshop & thought of my

Grandparents who were displaced from

their homes in Europe, starting over

in Canada after the war.​

I remember their stories, the horrors &

experiences that were part of their

daily life... the sacrifices of so many

(like them) that have awarded a

peaceful & promising start for us. 

Even with so much darkness

in their past, they managed to light the

present, always striving for better days ahead.​

Anisimova reminds us that there is

beauty & colour everywhere, even in the dark

… you just need to turn the light on.
